Third-Party Login Data. We may provide you with the option to register using your existing Google or Microsoft account. Our servers are located in the United States. We keep your personal information for as long as your account exists. If your subscription lapses or is canceled, we retain your account information so that you can return and reactivate your account without losing your data. If you submit a verified request to delete your personal information (see Sections 11, 13, and 18), we will delete or anonymize it within forty-five (45) days, except where retention is required by law (such as tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes) or where it persists briefly in encrypted backups pending deletion.

California "Shine The Light" Law

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits our users who are California residents to request, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes.

14. Chrome Extension And Load Board Data

The LoadCompanion extension reads load details displayed on supported load boards (such as DAT One and Sylectus) — including origin, destination, rate, equipment type, and broker contact information — solely to populate emails, calculate rates, and streamline booking. This data is processed in your browser and is transmitted to our servers only when you take an action such as saving a load or sending an email.

15. Google API Services (Limited Use)

LoadCompanion's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request the gmail.send scope solely to send emails you compose or explicitly initiate. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not permit human access except with your consent, for security purposes, or as required by law. You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. The same principles apply to the Microsoft Mail.Send permission, revocable via your Microsoft account settings.
